A Bourbon Affair

It’s on! Some minor fitting issues but it’s darn close. Next up is trying to get the tank a bit lowered so it lines up better with the seat.

Almost there…

Sides added to the seat. Pretty happy with how it came out, a few crooked seams but it’s my first seat. Really looking forward to see it completed and in place…

Made the top part of the seat today. I need side panels and a foam core to get it all together…

I’m so stoked! Just fired this bad boy up for the first time in 25 years, it’s been left in a corner somewhere up north since 1989 until I got my hands on it. Oh the pleasure of bringing life back into awesome engineering.

Oh happy day! A new bike moved in with me today, a 1977 Kawasaki KZ750B. It’s a bit of a hit or miss because it’s been stuck in a garage since 1989 but I’m staying positive.
